Walk the Line (A Johnny Cash Movie)

Walk the Line depicts
Johnny Cash's life from his childhood, to just after his marriage to June Carter Cash, who was considered to be his one true love. As a young boy, Johnny Cash's dad was an ornery man, who blame Johnny Cash for his brother's death at the sawmill. Johnny was plagued by this blame for most of his young adult life, and up until just after June Carter finally agreed to marry him.
Towards the end of the movie, while Johnny was singing in a prison, someone asked him if that lady(pointing to June Carter) was his wife. He responded by saying that keeps asking her but she keeps saying "no".
She resisted his proposals, until he insisted in public, during a concert, that she marry him, and she finally said yes. Johnny and June then toured and sang together, and enjoyed a marriage of over 30 years-highly unlikely for most couples who started out having an "affair" with one another (at least one of the two was still legally married). They died within a year of each other, just a couple of years ago.
Johnny Cash transformed from his early touring days until he was married from a drug and alchohol abuser, to someone who had respect for himself and others. June and her family were a very powerful and positive influence on him, and saw him all the way through his recovery.
Most importantly, in the last scene of the movie, he appeared happier than ever in his life with his wife June and their new family, and his newly forming relationship with his dad. His dad appeared to no longer hold his son, Johnny Cash for the death of his other son, Johnny's brother.
