C.R.A.Z.Y.. the movie's title is made up from the initials of five
brothers: Christian, Raymond,
Antoine,
Zachary and Yvan. Zachary is different from his
brothers from every point of view, starting from interests *especially musical*, to religious beliefs. The movie is a story about Zachary's love for his father and his father's love for him. Zachary starts an initiatic journey in order to find himself, how he truly is deep inside, at the core. He goes through adventures concerning real-life situations and tries to get over all obstacles he finds on his path. We get to follow his character's steps from the day he was born, on Christmas. He seems to find a resemblance to Ziggy Stardust and being inspired by him, the movie has as a soundtrack David Bowie and Rolling Stones songs. Marc-Andre Grondin portrays a disturbed young man on a quest to find who he really is and to find acceptance for who he has become, for how his life turned out to be like. He is a really talented actor and I wish I could see him in more movies and TV series. This one is spoken in French, yet it is highly enjoyable.
