Ah, Jason... Remember the first
Friday the 13th, the one you weren''t even in; remember how terrible that film was?
Why, oh why, and how has this series reached its tenth installment? How do the studios keep churning out this crap? And yes,
Jason X, is crap.
Jason in Space is an awful movie. From the first minute, when you hear the actors open their mouths, you know that you won''t be able to sit through the whole thing easily. The actors, comprised of a bunch of no-names that probably don''t even deserve to be in a B-grade horror film, are blessed by an equally bad script that sets the unkillable killer in the year 2455, having been cryogenically frozen all of that time. He goes on a rampage, murdering dozens of people in various ways, with plenty more idiotic people left to kill at his will.
There was a time when I thought that if you have enough sex and violence in a horror movie that it would be worth seeing. Alas, I am over that stage, and all I can say about Jason X is that it is one terrible movie. I really don''t understand the Jason junkies that can''t get enough of him; if I like a series, but it has a bad installment, I will bash it. Considering the fact that Jason hasn''t had a good movie yet, I completely do not understand where the fascination comes from. Jason kills plenty of people, but it can hardly be considered a horror movie; there are no authentic scares, no setup, or anything. Jason walks around, virtually indestructible, and throws people into walls. What''s the point?
