Fifth Element, The

Movie Review by: FilmJabber

Original Author: Luc Besson
The universe is about to destroyed, so why not have a beautiful hero, a blue opera diva, a sleazy taxi driver, and an obnoxious
radio star shoved into a plot that might be very original or might be really weird.

Bruce Willis heads the cast as the sleazy taxi driver Corben Dallas, who used to be a military officer. After running into Leeloo, the supreme being of the universe (and falling in love with her), he is conveniently enlisted to save the universe, which basically involves protecting Leeloo. For some reason, the government wants to keep the end of the universe a secret so they want the mission to be kept discreet.

The Fifth Element has a lot of plot holes and the world might be a little too strange to handle (it''s like Total Recall on weed), but all in all it''s a good movie. It has action, it has a lot of comedy, and most of all it has some decent sci-fi.
