Single sex schools have many
advantages. First, nobody distracts your attention from
lessons. In addition, there is
no need to separate girls and boys on physical education and it is easier to chair sexual education, because some
students might be ill at ease with that in front of another. Pupils from single sex schools do not quarrel each other about boyfriends or girlfriends and there is such a friendly atmosphere.
However, single sex schools have some disadvantages. For one thing, students from these schools might have problems with contacts to another sex. What is more, schools without boys or girls are boring, because both of them bring something into group. For example, there is more fun when you go on school trips with group, which is mixed.
Despite the
advantages, I prefer mixed schools to single sex schools, because personal contacts are based on mutual relationship between people.
