Arnold Schwarzenegger to be the next president of Austria
Schwarzenegger
holds dual citizenship. By birth, he is an
Austrian, and later he settled in America and took the citizenship of that country.
He is successful in all the fields he has touched upon in life; be it body building, acting, business, and last the politics. He achieved the Mr. Universe title in
bodybuilding at the age of 22, and got the Mr. Olympia title later that continued for seven times. He is the Governor of the state of California in United States, and is doing well that is the perception.
Ornamented with many nicknames like Austrian Oak and Styrian Oak in his bodybuilding days, Arnie in his acting career, and the latest the Governator, a mixture of Terminator and Governor, he is a likeable person with many fans all over the world. His wife is Maria Shriver, the niece of famous past US President John. F. Kennedy. They have four children, all born in US. The post of governor that he is holding now will end by the end of next year. A British newspaper has claimed that he might become the President of his native country Austria thereafter. The paper also stated that Arnold himself has told his home country, “I will be back…as President.” Although he is an American citizen, he is not permitted to run for the position of President of US, as he was not born in US. Nikolaus Berlakovich of Austrian People’s Party has confirmed this news by saying that they are backing Arnold’s candidacy. The governor of his home province in central Austria Franz Voves is full of praise about Schwarzenegger. The next Austrian Presidential election will be held in 2010. he has also got full support from the residents of Thal village, where he grew up. They want his old house to be made a museum.
Political experts in US believe that he may run for the US senate. This is going to be true or not, time will tell, but one of his friends says, “Being one of many has never appealed to him. Arnold liked to be at the top of the tree.”
