Another British soldier killed in
Afghanistan - Helmand Province and there have been 17 soldiers killed this month ... since
the war began in 2001 the total is reported at 186! The pictures are horrifying and each day we see pictures on our screen of these killings! But deaths of soldiers aside, the problem at present seems to be focused on Prime Minister Gordon Brown's refusal to send more
equipment to
Afghanistan ... in fact this confirms the report I heard on the BBC on a question show where someone complained there was a distinct lack of helicopters!
However The Prime Minister Gordon Brown refuses to budge so is not sending more equipment so that is how the situation stands at the moment.
The war began in 2001 and its now going on 8 years since that date ... I wonder if we will ever see an end in sight ... thanks to ITN for the video!
