DEATH for wildlife."These are the words of a man that inspired not only his own country but many other countries as well, some of his methods were controversial yet the fact that he loved animals should never be questioned.Steve
irwin was 44 years old when he pulled a
sting ray barb from his
chest while minutes later resulting in his death, there was speculation that Steve had to of threatened the Ray in some way as they are not known to be aggresive animals. John Stainton a close family friend of Steve was there when it happened and he made sure that people knew that Steve only swam over the top of the creature and when he did so the tail of the sting ray came up and spiked Steve in the chest.He is survived by his wife Terri, daughter Bindi and Son Robert.The publics heart goes out to their family as flowers and lots of cards are still being laid at the Australia Zoo in Beerwah Queensland, the amount of people who have mourned his death has been nothing short of a miracle and will always be remembered. Steve Irwin will be sadly missed by all.
