How to take good care of your books.
A book is a treasure. Do not damage it, do not
write on it, for you will be sorry
later. Keep it in a safe place, away from dust and humity. In order to keep them longer, make a goos cover, preferbly transparent so as not to steal the identity of the book. If you have a vast library, organize it.
Write charts and catalogues with the titles of all the books you own. By doing so, you will have more control if you lend some of your books. If you want to informatize your data base, use Microsoft Access. it is simples to use and you can work with an assistant which helps those who do not know how to work with this software. Once in a while, spread some perfum, in order to frighten rodents away. When it comes to large and heavy books, do not keep them on a vertical
position. Keep them on an horizontal position, this way they will not be damaged. Never use glue because it damages the books. Who wants to be remembered takes good care of his books. Afterall, a book is art, pleasure, wisdom, essence and imagination. The books youi have at home reflect yourself. Take good care of them because later you will not be around, but your children and grandchildren will be and can enjoy yout history.
