Leave it to the Canadians to make a big deal out of brown. The Brockville Recorder and Times (Ontario) wrote about
brown being the "IT"
color in September 2005. It is obvious that brown is a traditional color for Fall and on into Winter. The
fashion industry is very repititous every
year with colors. Especially, brown and orange highlight the beginning of Fall on every magazine cover. Individuals devote alot of attention to the
colors they
wear and the months in which they wear them. Unless an individual has a certain image to protray, colors vary from season to season. For example, an alternatitive musician might wear brown throughout the year. This does not make brown the most
popular color. It is simply a good color for certain people during a particular time of year. Girls and homo-sexuals are typically interested in fashion. Chocolate brown became pretty popular in Fall and Winter 2005. Americans usually do not pay attention to color otherwise. The economy suffers from a major deficit at the present time. The fashion industry got little recogintion this past year. Many Americans did not rush to buy new hot colors in most cases. We put the clothes on our backs and thought about the loss of American lives In Iraq. As we all know, the American economy is in the worst condition in the history of America. Across the Globe, the War on Terrorism concerns many nations. Fashion is at the bottom of the list for most civilizations. The only country that may not find this to be factual is France, where fashion was invented. I doubt the French would write about brown as importance. Since this is not from Quebec, I do not see the revelance.
