city government of late enacted stipulation on
geographical planning of
commercial centers in Chengdu .The gist of planning will be directed to the scientific distribution of commercial centers so that a sound development of commercial sector is guaranteed. The planning scheme covers downtown and suburban districts taking up 3,681 square kilometers with the stress on urban regions. A core commercial center will be formed downtown and six sub-centers come into being at suburban districts with development orientation on different businesses。
