logistics ranks 2nd on Forbes list The Chinese version of the Forbes magazine recently released a ranking of Chinese
cities on
logistics development. Chengdu ranks second after Guangzhou in logistics indexes such as cost, traffic convenience, cargo transport and market scale after an evaluation of 661 Chinese cities. The city has made efforts to upgrade the traffic network of roads, railways and aviation, as well as more efficient management system. A group of logistics parks with
international cooperative tees have been built and international logistics corporate settled in the city to tap market potential. In another development, Forbes will issue the reading of China's best commercial cities on September 15. It is expected that Chengdu will be the 15th on the ranking list.
