China Becomes Top Reformer in Doing Business The forum "Doing Business 2007; How to Reform" was held in Beijing and a simultaneous
telephone meeting of it was convened on Thursday in Chengdu. Officials involved in the forum disclosed that in the past year, China was ranked 4th on the Top
Reformers List of 2005/6. This year's report indicates top reformers of business
regulations and describes best practices in how to reform. It measures quantitative indicators on business regulations and compares their enforcement across 175 economies worldwide. The report is published by the World. Bank and International Finance Corporation (IFC).
