I am N.K.Raghuveer.B.A.Llb.I am a private advocate in a small town near Kollam Kerala.I have saved several people in my profession.I like particularly a case when I saved a person who lost his entire land for government hydro electric dam project and got no compensation due government official corruption.I like my town which has diversity in terms of caste,cultural affairs,festivals,professions etc.
I am not an electronic entertainment lover.I have got a card playing club near river.We are three in our club.I,Madav a primary school teacher and Nayyar.Madav is a 40 year old blck haired person.He has gotgood command over english and malayalum.Nayyar is a animal trainer.He is a young and charming person belonging to ethnic group "Navara".
We have hired a small room near the river for this purpose.This room is a tea house belonging to Aiyyer brahmins.We have to pay Rs.200 for 4 hour play.We meet atleast once in a week and even in heavy mansoon using umbrellas.We sometimes even bet Rs.2000.We make jokes, sometimes quarrel like animals.
It is summer here.Summer in Kollam is quite vigorous like heavy mansoon.We have a new member in the club.He is Bevis Frank a professional photographer from Netherland.He is working for travel and tourism department of his
country as a photographer.He talks in a charming english.He has photographed sevaral places in India like Udaipur,Jaipur,Vasmatol,Madurai.
Frank is a professional gambler too.He never lost a game against us.He narates several intersting places he has visited during his profession like under sea restaurant.He has shown us an album containing several
photographs which are greatly admired by his country people and across world.Winter festival Gala of china,devotional places of Tibet,under sea photographs of bay of Singapore,Migrated nigros life style in Kenya ,lifestyle in Mecca are some of them.
Frank likes Kollam.He has already photographed temples of here.Temples of Kollam are 2040 years old and are built in black stones.On the walls of temple stories of Gods and Goddess are carved.Sometimes Frank takes photographs manually,sometimes he uses stand and sometimes he uses kite for photography.He ties his camera on the kite and when kite reaches sky he takes arial snapshots of temple and landscapes of Kollam using remote . Frank likes Kollam."I want to settle in Kollam."sometimes he remarks.
One May day told in the club ,"I have to leave Kollam..Email came from country...I have got a new assignment in Orissa for my country...I have to take photographs of Konark temple...Muddy streets of Bubaneshwar during mansoon..."Soon Frant departed.We are now three.Cards are on the table waiting for heavy mansoon of Kollam.
