PSYCHO, just like that, Psychologie, as underlined by its title is a journal, almost a bible, a reference book for all neurotics looking for the recognition of their neurosis and for a solution to their life's void. It is indeed fashionable to talk about psychology and it is fascinating to discover ways to make one's life easier: to love oneself more, to discover one's intimate self, the self that shouts atyou every morning, claiming his/her freedom back, to let oneself become, but also to be reassured on some aspects of neurosis we all believed to be dreadful but are actually capable to bring redemption in a couple's life for example, a little rough in the bed can actually help....and there was me, not kowing until now what to do with my brush in hand...More seriously, Psychologie is more than your usual page in a people's magazine, tucked between the loveandgossip pages, it is truly interesting and once you're done with your natural apprehensions and misconceptions, youare then able to see that is nowatered-down psychology, that the
articles have been written by real competent professionals, psychologists, sexo-psychologists, gynaecologists and other medical experts; those articles do not tell you anything new but go deeper and express with every day words why we hurt and suffer, they
answer our questions, both ordinary and essential: who am I? what do I want to do with my life? These articles remind you that there are no ready-made answer to these questions. However, they are tools, like cleverly
drawn surveys, charts, graphs, drawings, witnesses.
witnesses are good, they talk to you directly, you feel drawn in and this is where
PSYCHO succeeds and where others have failed, those witnesses do not complain, do not bare their souls, but they simply describetheir progression, their new found well-being, and this is highly inspiring.
