The standing committee of Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) had cancled its 30
year contract with Sulabh International
(an non governmental organisation) due to poor maintenance.
The Sulabh International has claimed that MCD can not cancel its
contract for maintaining toilets complexes (CTCs) overnight and has to serve a one
year notice
Sulabh International has also blamed that they are helpless to change the condition of CTCs because MCD did not provide them enough funds.
