Yet another applecart has been upset in Bollywood with yet another Mumbai Mirror interview. Last
time
, Amitabh Bachchan was angry with Aamir Khan. This time, Priyanka Chopra is furious with Kareena Kapoor. The two leading ladies have never really got along well. And the final blow came when an outspoken Kareena refused to acknowledge Priyanka Chopra as an ''actress'' in an interview to Mumbai Mirror on December 16 (see box). This left Priyanka fuming. Of late, she has been telling close friends that this is extremely rude and that she''s not in any
mood
to ''forget and forgive'' this time.
The story goes that Priyanka, who is yet to break her silence and has always maintained a ''no comments'' stance when quizzed about her so-called rivalry with Kareena, was extremely upset about what Bebo had to
say
about her.
A source close to Priyanka says, “Priyanka always watches her words. She will never say anything unpleasant about her colleagues in public. She had refused to comment even on Karan Johar''s chat show, Koffee with Karan. So she can''t understand why Kareena needed to say what she did, about her.”
Unlike Aamir and AB, however, this time, there''s a mediator who has come into play. That''s Shah Rukh Khan. Now that the catfight has come out in the open and things have worsened between Kareena and Priyanka, apparently Shah Rukh Khan, who is fond of both Priyanka and Kareena, has been making attempts to get the
actresses
to forget their differences and start afresh.
Earlier too, SRK had also urged Priyanka and Kareena to make an appearance together on a special episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati. Surprisingly, the two actresses had given in to Shah Rukh''s wishes at that time. Also, the actresses exchanged greetings at SRK''s private parties at his residence, Mannat.
However, this recent episode has upset the delicate balance once again. Now, Priyanka has sworn that she is not in a mood for reconciliation.
Our source says, “Priyanka is irritated with Kareena and she is in no mood to patch up with her now. She has just been ignoring Kareena for the longest time just to avoid any public spat.”Write your abstract here.
