"If you are sure of your facts , forget about them, just write what you know." and "He slept only after the last press worker
had gone home" . These are few words that enriched the article even though these were just the collection from the writer's experience with two editors who had inspired her . While expressing her concern over the nature of editorial practices that has brought down the standard of many publications and media houses , she was also in praise for editors like Edatata Narayanan who would wait for each of his sub-ordinates finish their work late in the night and editors like Mr.Goenka(Indian Express) who had all the support for the right kind of reports . People say that things are changing .But the author does not agree to it as with time probably nothing has changed as the situation responsible for effective journalism has not changed even after generations , she says. She says"it has become even more important today , when governments have sold their soul and are taking away from the poor to give the rich" To conclude her article she adds that if every newspaper independently and truthfully published the news, India would be transformed .
Really a good article to read and learn.
