Prabhu Chawla Editor of Aaj tak did ask some difficult questions, but vital enough for public to know more about approach
and philosphy of
Sri Sri.For some time youth and most societies have started gathering behind
Art of Living Movement. They seem to have addressed needs of certain sections of Society, may it be psychological, spiritual or even for looking after physical disorders.
Commercial orientation of Organization remains a question, largely remains. The Word Business itself has not been considered consistent with Spirituality. But interestingly Spirituality has become business.
Like Religion is business, Politics is a profession.
It raises eyebrows because, Most of the times Spiritual authorities have not identified this culture with Business. That is the reason it is difficult to digest Spirituality as Business. We are not used to look at learning and ethics are matters, which can be ascribed/given a value. Peace or Solace at a cost sounds as temporary as is the Price/cost currency.
Business of Morality is likely to be at play shortly. Paramount is Business for survival and not morality or spirituality for Business. They have become tools for successful business. If business/venture will not succeed, tools are changed, abandoned.
Is it fashionable or a heartfelt phenomenon to hold business world responsible for all developments or playing off or degeneration of Human values? Primary realization remains, that is - struggle for power and survival as well as poor drive for co existence.
Sri Sri says He does not care what people say on one or other issues what he is pursuing. As a spiritual master, he is expected to address such people with dignity and grace. Accepting diversity of opinion is his unique selling preposition and when he says that, he does not care- suggests arrogance.
Master of philosphy of Acceptance and Art of Living must ratify expectations and should not feel insecure that needs assertion of this kind.
