Iran has a secret nuke plan.
According to Dr Manmohan Singh, the Indian Premier, Iran
had a clandestine
nuclear programme for the past several
years. Dr Singh further said that it was not in the
country’s interest to have another nuclear weapon state so
close to itself. The P.M. told this to a
delegation of
Muslim organizations on 18th April 2006. Iran should comply
with the stipulations of NPT said the Indian P.M. to the
delegates.
India did not vote against Iran in the IAEA because of any
pressure by the USA. The decision was taken on the basis of
the country’s interests. Dr Singh said this in response to
a question raised by a member of the delegation.
