Medical Science Says The Ageing leads to dementia
depression, etc. ALL these are direct impacts of
environmental pollution on human beings.
DURING
President APJ Abdul Kalam’s meeting with
school
children at Aanand (Gujrat “India”) a question
came
up. “who is are enemy?” president abdul kalam liked
the
question and put it to other student to reply. A
student
of “12 class” replied “our enemy is poverty”.
president
liked the answer and dedicated his book” IGNITED
MINDS”
to
that intelligent student.
IN this context, it may be added that we have two
more
enemies-
population explosion and population. These

enemies are obstructing the progress of development
of
our
country. present day man, though accrediented with
achievement of progress in all walks of life is
surrounded
by various problem him disturbed creature. Needless
to
say
that he himself is responsible for his predicament
which is
full of problems of poverty, starvation,
unemployment,
epidemics, wars, atrocities, etc.
ENVIRONMENTAL pollution is one of these and is
having a
devastating effect on this his day-to-day life and
even
his
existence. World population which was hardly 100
crores
in 1830 has exploded to more than 600 crores now.
due
to
the problem of water, air, sound, etc. the quantum
of
life-
saving oxygen is going down to dangerous levels.
AIR population by poisonous gages coming out of
chimneys
of various industries, river and lake waters,
human
waste
and other types of wastes and garbage
BRITISH psychologist Prof. woods who had carried
out
research on this aliment for the last 25 years has
opined
that this aligment is related to old age and no
sure
remedy is found as yet to cure it. Similary this
aliment is
spreading fast in all the countries of the world.
IN India 30 lakh old persons are afflicated by
it .
this
means 30 lakh old Indians do not remember what
food
they
had taken an hour before or do not remember even
the
names of persons whom they meet often.
Medical science says that the impact of ageing on
brain
leads to memory impediments, dementia, depression,
etc.
All
these aliments have direct bearing on human life
and
there
is a direct impact of environmental pollution on
the
process of ageing.
These aged pray god to remove pollution of all
types
from
water, air, atmosphere and even the human life so
that
their grand children at least will live happily In
the
world.
