Deccan chronicle article on citizen police honour

This news

citizens who have contributed their efforts to nab culprits with the
help of cyberabad (Hyderabad,Dist Rangareddy)police has been really a
valuable feature of daily newspapers.
This news is about how
about 35 good samaritans among citizens have helped to catch hold of
thieves,dacoits, chain snatchers,house burglars etc.I being one among
those ,gives me pride ,to have been appreciated by Police and media and
public in general.Here in this abstract of mine ,I would like to write
about the unsung heroes in the episode of catching a house burglar who
committed offence in my neighbour's flat.
That eventual night ,myself and my
wife had a disturbed sleep due to our one year old daughter ,who was
not keeping well with her health.after we could put her to sleep say
about 2'oclock in midnight of 2nd ,August,my sleep was disturbed
and i couldn't go to sleep.So the first unsung heroine is my
daughter ,who made us awake that night.I sat before my desktop to
complete my unfinished work at 2'o clock.After about one hour about 3'o
clock in the night i heard strange sounds coming from our neighbourer's
flat,who have gone on pilgrimage.When I stood up and saw through our
window ,I found a strange person was breaking open the lock of my
neighbour's flat.I closed down my window and I was thinking what to
do?My culture and my brought up has forced me to do something to
stop the offence and catch the thief.So here the second unsung hero i
would like to mention is my parents ,who have instilled courage in me to
stand up to such circumstances and fight boldly.Here ,at this juncture
,I applied my thought,and informed about the incident to my
brother-in-law who was staying in fifth floor of the same apartments
about this through my mobile,since ,the thief has bolted my door from
outside ,which prevented me to take any other initiative.My
brother-in-law swiftly acted on receiving the information
,alerted other neighbours and came down without making any noise,to the
flat where offence is being committed.He locked the thief from out
side the flat with help of other neighbours had
informed the police about this.so the third important unsung
hero becomes our neighbors in the same apartments.The
fourth one being Police themselves ,who have come to the spot
within five minutes of receiving the information.
Despite somany people gathered outside,the
robber went on collecting ,the money,gold and other things
in the flat and was looking for a way out to escape
at that moment.One of the Police constables risked his life to open the
doors almost hung from third floor ,to pull out the bolt inside
the flat and was successful in no time.The police force headed by a
smart Police officer SI of our place has lead his battalion inside and
caught the thief just before he was about to escape from bathroom
ventilators.I would like to say that ,the police who risked his life to
open the door and made way clear for the other battalion to enter in is
a real Hero who has risked his life in doing so.No amount of
appreciation is sufficient in praising such a gifted police
personnel in our country ,who stands next only to army in defence of
public property and lives.So in this whole incident these were the
heroes who went unsung,so I thought , I should ventilate my feelings
,my gratitude to one and all who have really worked to stop the offence
and catch hold of the burglar.
