The Pluto Blot Plot
A couple of days ago we lost a
planet. Pluto has become a celestial particle.
Scorpios what happens to thee? Why that's all right, I am a Scorpio too and that isn’t going to do any difference to my 9 to 5 or even my sex life. Well redundancy sets everywhere, and lil'old Pluto happend to be next on the list. Pluto is a
distant and cold fella as far as the astronuts (oops!) are concerned but that lil thing has been a big warm big ol'thing for quite a long time, Be it slurping all over Mickey all the time or giving the scorpios the distant, mysterious yet alluring effect ( you will have to ask one to know about it ). My niece came back from school to ask me why her teacher was still insisting Pluto was still a
planet. I told her “Honey! She has either not read the latest news or she is a Romanticist like me (or a Scorpio) .But seriously the kids are now in a catch 22 situation. The syllabus says ‘9 planets, the learned ones have put down the Law now and it's 8. "Well thats what is the advantage of being older" I tell my niece. Pluto don’t give two hoots nor do I. Indian astrology did one better they are telling that This is what they have been claiming for ages : that Pluto was not a planet at all and they had two non existent celestial things called 'Rahu' & 'Ketu' instead .Do not laugh out loud my fellow human beings, In a good part of Asia is These are the guys who decide what can happen in a day, Why even the yearly calendar is designed based on this. So I think I will have to ask the ISRO (Indian Space Research organization) guys what they think. But poor old guys they start their day with 'peter vidal' or referring to the Rahu- Ketu commands in a calendar. So I think lets ask some guys from NASA( Hope these are the Head Honchos in space research) who are sending so many objects into space. Then I realize at any point of time some 'x' is going to prove 'y' wrong.
All right the wise ones have spoken and its fact today and the commandment is a rule to us and learning for years to come, and for those that has always been crying out loud ages since, well they are just being culture specific like poor old Pluto an existing yet conveniently invisible ENTITY. Let the kids this year at school fail their questions on this as their are all scrambled and know not what to follow ; the class text book or latest news. So they wait till someone tells them the acceptable answer and write the correct answer in the next year exams when the stars and planets are aligned as per the guys looking through a Hubble telescope and auspicious as per the star gazers...... 'Yes its true change is the only constant’. Finally there is one question I want to ask the learned ones how should I write Pluto from now on, Is it with a capital 'P' or .......???
So my dear Pluto do not think this is your ‘RIP’. Be distant, Be cold, Be far But just hang in there, there are some of us who swear by you.
