A day with the president of India
India is the nation in which we live and all of us know this, and the president
of this nation, which is so dear to most of us is Dr. A.P.J Abdul kalam. This great man loves children and thus sends invites to many of India’s children and this is how my invitation to go to the imperial president house the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Dr.kalam first took us for a walk around his glorious and spacious house, which rather looked like a mansion than a house and thus it made very proud that the Rashtrapati Bhavan is one of the largest of the president houses in the world.
After the two and a half hour walk around the Rashtrapati Bhavan we were left with about twenty hours we went for a journey around India aboard his special air- craft, which was flown by versatile pilots. We started with the north starting from the valleys of jammu and Kashmir watching the fast flowing rivers which made the valleys more beautiful. The land was covered with green forests.
Then we moved to the beautiful northeastern side in which we could see the Mount Everest and many such other snow peaked mountains. The world looked so small in delhi, oh sorry if I haven’t told you I live in delhi. But now the world seemed to look so huge has though it had suddenly grown. The lucky children who were with, me belonged to many different states and cities. The people were with so many different accents that we had so much fun when somebody pronounced a word wrongly and that person would remained ashamed and ignored us all, I would feel sorry for that child.
We had excellent food with eight types and there were many snacks, which contained many of my favourites such as French fries and paneer tikka. The bengal side that is the eastern side had to offer some delicious ras gulla and fish. The food on the plane was quite delicious as well and journey was quite as everybody cracked so many jokes that even Mr.President couldn’t control himself.
The south had a hot and humid weather but delicious food with dosas, idlis and vadaas. I had many of my own connoisseurship on the way the president’s hair style as some people tried to impress him by telling that his hair style made him look stylish, cool or even sexy. But I had an own opinion as I thought it made look shabby.
The west had many things to offer as foods, clothes and art. We weren’t left with a lot of time and thus could not travel the states such as rajasthan.
At reaching the air port in delhi we were given mementos and all of us proceeded to our houses where are parents were waiting for us. If you ever get a chance you can come and see the memento.
