Kids who love to read do better in schools. Not only do they do better in schools but they tend to excel in whatever opportunities
that come across their way. Reading helps the development of neurons in the child's brain. As parents we should make reading a part of our
children's daily routine so that it becomes a habit just like dressing and bathing. Start reading to your child as early as possible. Initially buy colourful pictorial books with large prints. As they grow up encourage children to write their own books. Let them include artwork or pictures cut from magazines. This will stir up their imagination. See that your home is filled with adequate reading material for your children so that instead of
television they will make books their best friend.
