republican presidential contender Rudy Giuliani''s craze for power,even if political facts and principles are forgotten.In the process of making his position in the heart of right wing supporters a secure one he draws flak by twisting the facts about cancer survival potential in US and Britain.He says that while chances for survival from prostate cancer in US is about 82%,it is only 44% in Britain.While the fact is that British
healthcare system provides for a high survival index in prostate cancer,as high as 74%,it''s something rude from the part of this man of huge political responsibility to have resorted to such an antics.The author points out that this mockery of British healthcare system were surely drafted by none other than Giuliani''s political aides themselves.The figure came out in a seven year old article in a conservative policy journal.The article was written by Giuliani''s healthcare policy adviser,who later admitted that the figures were crude ones.The author says that this is surely an example of a political maliciousness caught redhanded.Despite having their campaign drawn a flak,Giuliani camp is intented to go forward with the same claims.The author also makes it a point that Mr.Giuliani has got the uncanny political conviction of making his right wing supporters beleive that something sort of a Gospel truthis coming out of his mouth everytime he goes in for a public outcry.The author also brings it to light the fact that what Mr.Giuliani recieved while he was ailing with prostate cancer was the fruit of a universal healthcare system,the very idea the republicans are dying hard to see its ends.This is a very example of how the former mayor can make a mockery of the facts just to see that he stays in power.His views were pretty liberal during his mayoral days though he belongs to the republican camp.Though a conservative republican,he was never known to respect the republican ideals and was never seen attending a mass.The only occasions when he invoked the name of God was while taking oaths.He comes in for more criticism owing to the fact that he managed to set up the emergency command centre in world trade centre building, the very structure which had prreviously been the target of terrorist attacks.The author finds it odd a thing from the part of Gordon Brown to have invited Mr.Giuliani to no.10 downing street,an honour Mr.Giuliani is never worthy off.
