Nithari CaseNithari, a small village on the outskirts of Noida witnessed a large number of missing children
(especially girls) from the past one and a half years. The residence of this village registered a case complain for the missing children but the police did not take it seriously and refused to file a case against the people involved in it. Surendra Koli, a businessman from Chandigarh was staying along with his servant in his D5 Noida House. People often complained about the children disappearing suddenly from a well near Koli’s House. From the investigations we have come to know that Surendra Koli was an adulterer. He had a bar at the first floor of his house. All the window panes of his house are soundproof and black coloured so that an outsider could not see what was happening inside the house and also the cries of the children could not be heard. He along with his servant was involved in the rape case of little girls. After this wickedness the servant killed them on the second floor of the house. He chopped the bodies and threw them on the ravine (drain) which was situated on the peripheral boundaries of his house. Both the men were undergone for a Narco Analysis test conducted in Ahmedabad. The case has been passed on for CBI investigation, still many skeletons or parts are being recovered. Every possible measure is being taken to find out the Noida Killings but it is too late now. Who should be held responsible for all this – the police who tried to be ignorant; the municipal corporation who did not bother to clean the drain for so long; or the neighbours of Surendra Koli who kept mum and suddenly left the place quietly?May be Koli used to sell the body parts not in India but Abroad and he is not disclosing the matter as it would hamper his EXPORT BUSINESS in near future. What ever the case may be, the whole social system and the administrative structure are to be blamed for this unfortunate incident. (347 words)
