Newspaper Review by: BhupinderKohli

Aamir Khan still to find 'Fanaa' For latest flick starring Aamir Khan and Kajol starrer - ‘Fanaa’ - Gujarat audience really
had to face many hardships like their chocolaty blue-eyed star Aamir Khan, who didn’t shirk from his determination.
He was not afraid to say aloud: "I will continue supporting the innocent people who have been abandoned. What I demand is land for these poor souls so that they can earn their bread. I am not afraid of any threat."
Probably he was sure of his fan-following. And, why not….Be it revered Sunil Dutt, Jaya Bachchan or Vivek Oberoi, the stars of Indian film industry have time and again arisen to the social causes willfully. Loving fans have always appreciated there reel-life heroes supporting a cause be it Gujarat, Kashmir or Tsunami havoc. Then, why so much hoopla has been created over Aamir Khan supporting the ‘Save Narmada Aandolan.’
Moreover, audience was waiting to extend a warm welcome to Kajol after a long gap.
Above all, why should his movie - ‘Fanaa’ - be dragged into this issue. How can anyone justify ban on his movie in lieu of this kind, compassionate support for the people in distress. Thank God!!! Common man has regained the guts to call a spade, a spade. We need statesman like Aamir Khan who has grown from a reel-life star to a real life star.
It seems what few uncouth elements are afraid of is The Rising of a statesman...
