Is India really shining??
The Indian Express has the bottom line stating that its JOURNALISM OF COURAGE .Today when I read the newspaper I was really proud of the “The Indian Express “Group and the journalist writer(Shubhajit Roy) who put out the truth to let
people know what all is cooking on the name of welfare. I read that the states used education funds for puja. The Narendra Modi’
govt has done something of this sort .It
spent its SSA i.e Sarv Shiksha Abhiyaan funds on some irrelevant aspects. Let me put it forward for u all going through the article now:
In West Bengal, the Left front govt under Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee splurged an unseemingly
Rs 18.13
cr on air conditioners, mobile phones, and all which are not under SSA .The UP govt spent Rs 52
lakhs on buying utensils for 2,576
schools. The HP govt spent Rs 24lakhs on LPG connections for mid day meals. The Bihar govt spent Rs 15.8cr for utensils, mid day meals .This was blamed on the lack of monitoring which also led to financial irregularities of Rs 472.51cr in states and UTs.The free text books were not supplied to the 7.46lakh children ,the books were supplied to 47.69 lakh ineligible students .In two districts of Jharkhand school grant of Rs 47.88 lakhs was released to 2,369 “non-existing”schools.Besides total 75,884 primary schools in 15 states and UTs were operating with only one teacher and 6,647 schools in seven states were without any teacher.
Inspite of this ,theres much much more in India. We vote as a responsible citizen and want some people to guide our country on right path and when they don’t and just work for their selfish motives whats the use of selecting our own politician to guide the country on right path?Is this the reason for above we vote them?respect them?give them authority?Definately NO.Then how to bring it to an end?Its only we who have to fight our battle. The INDIAN EXPRESS media has shown us whats all working on name of welfare and we should be glad that we atleast came to know about the people we have put lots of faith on .Now its time to act and work for justice.
