Terror in Uttar Pradesh
Terrorism is spreading like any viral disease in the society today. No part of the world is
hidden from the eyes of the terrorists.
Uttar Pradesh has been witnessing such terrorist activities in the year 2006. When the USA Presiden, George Bush visited India last week, it definitely marked a new era in the history of Indo-US nuclear policy. But the Anti-Bush activists held processions, burnt his effigies and halted the normal daily activity of the masses. I mean Lucknow here. A major procession resulted in death, terror acts, and injury to man. Curfew was put in the old areas of city as Kaiserbagh and Aminabad where the riots broke out. This was not a pure terrorist activity but with
terrorism spreading all over, the illiterate, poor people are the ones whose feelings are exploited most by the
politicians, resulting in violence. This is a kind of a terrorist activity. This shows that India is still backward and not ready to accept growth. Definitely, Bush had his personal gains in mind, which made him visit India and Pakistan.
Yesterday, Varanasi was burning with violence. The sacred ‘Sankat Mochan Temple’ of Lord Hanuman became the target of the terrorists. Tuesdays are celebrated all over U.P. in the memory of Lord Hanuman. When Hindus from all over the city went to offer their prayers to the God, a major bomb blast took place inside the temple premises. Many were killed and hundreds injured. Children lost their lives while some became orphans. The entire state is under high alert. All religious monuments are being strictly guarded. Man cannot even worship its Creator openly now. Fear and stress is in his mind, heart and eyes wherever he goes.
WHAT IS ALL THIS? WHAT DOES MAN WANT? WHAT DOES HE WANT TO PROVE TO THE WORLD? Muslims claim responsibility for such acts in the name of their religious war, Jehad, seeking freedom for their minority group. But who is ultimately hurt? The common man, of course, who has no cause or reason to face such terrible death and incidents. He believes the selfish politicians for some benefits but what they get is suffering for themselves and their families.
Man must stop this! Gods and Nature are not happy with such acts of mankind. They show their anger on man in the form of unnatural deaths, calamities, and adverse weather conditions all over the world, mass deaths and destruction, etc. Why does man does not understand that all this bloodshed will lead him nowhere. Just stop this, dear Man! One man killing the other for what? Money! No. Only Politicians get it. Such bomb blasts will continue. If not U.P., somewhere else!
Terrorism must end. The layman feels unsecured to move on the roads today. Females feel unsafe. Man is becoming barbarous. God help Man!
