it''s sizzling
hot in agra, the city of the taj mahal. foreign
tourists not used to such extreme weather are really having a tough time negotiating the heat. historical
monuments in
agra do not have adequate drinking
water facilities. this causes a lot of inconvenience to the visitors to the red sand stoned monuments which get heated up. unprepared and unsuspecting tourists find themselves roasted and baked in the hot summer afternoons in agra. the woes of the locals are further compounded by water and power shortages.
