Govt. move to ban on screen drinking is welcome step but how much effectively it will be enforced only Almighty knows.We have seen in the past that liquor ads were banned but the industry found a different way of promoting their products of course by surrogate ads.Nothing was done against such type of ads.The names in the surrogate ads are today uttered by even young children ,they think that  an extra brand of mineral water is available in the market and when they dig a little they come to know about the reality.The drinking age has come down from 28 to 19,why this happened.Reason being easy avalability of liquor brands on the shops run by the govt or private investors.On one side we have disallowed ciggarate and panwals near the schools or public places and on the other hand we have opened so many self service liquor counters.Both the things are being done by the same machinery.How long they can impose a ban is a matter to see.
