JAIPUR BLASTS APPEAR TO BE BANGLADESH BASED
Recent bomb blasts in Jaipur, and the subsequent investigations have been discussed in an editorial of Times of India of May 19, 08. Based on the initial Investigations, this incident appears to be the handiwork of HUJI. Dealing with the terrorist attacks is being continuously discussed. The name of HUJI was involved in some earlier blasts also. HUJI was earlier in Pakistan and now it is in Bangladesh. As per some estimates, Rajasthan state has about 50,000 Bangladeshis. Government of Rajasthan has ordered all the District magistrates, to initiate the process of their identification, and expelling them from Rajasthan. Four thousand and one hundred Km long border between India and Bangladesh is porous, and a large number of Bangladeshis come to India illegally, looking for better jobs and pay. Some of them have even acquired fake ration cards and voter ID cards. Many have given their address in West Bengal. It will be necessary to verify the details given by them. It is in our interest to ensure that the terrorists are removed. The role of the Border States surrounding Bangladesh is very important. Many of these Bangladeshis are Muslims, and therefore it will not be that just because of their being Muslims, that they will face this problem. At any cost we have to stop the terrorists, who are trying to come to India from the nearby countries, so that we can avoid such bomb attacks in India in future.
