.In the early morning when I took a 1st notice of TOI, it
was very sad to see Sanjay Dutt back on news.
Obviously,
not for a preaching act on the latest sensation of
Bollywoodb‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’ which should have
been
the
news on the cover page. Yesterday, it was judgment
day
of
1993 Mumbai blasts which has pulled Munnabhai back
into
controversies who has given a new dimension to
Gandhian
principles. It would have been a high
time in his
acting
career if the
blast controversy wouldn't have
entered
his
flourishing career like "a hurricane at the time of
roofing
of hut".
At, the time Munnabhai was becoming the
most
talked about guy not only in the film industry but
also
in
the media, educational institutes and among
Gandhian
writers across the world every thing has been
graved by
the
blast judgment. However, what is important is the
judgments
have been hanging around the
court for last 13
years and
kept all of us in vain to see the
culprits punished.
And, now after 13 years when we
have
found the culprits, its very hurting to know that
our
present day hero "Munnabhai" who has given a new
dimension
to Ghandhian
philosophy has been acquitted by the
court
for
going against Ghandhian philosophy 13 years back.
Don't we feel like
there
is a
pot hole in our
judicial system? Isn’t it too late
to
punish someone for his deeds 13years back. Isn’t
13
years
long enough for a devil to turn into a saint? So,
should we
applause for the achievements of our judicial
system or
moan at Munnabhai’s difficult times. Its high time
for
a
revolution in the judicial system which if not
initiated
now would become impossible tomorrow.
