How about getting off the
ship of
desert after an enthralling ride amidst sand dunes and straightway hitting a lavish
cruise with regaling ambience. Well! It sounds absurd its possible as Dubai offers it all. City-based advocate Amit Jain took a
short break to this marvelous land. Calling Dubai a great experience, he says, “We were looking forward to a short tour to a refreshing hideaway spot. The place offered everything for everybody.”But what Amit Jain, who went along with wife Anju and kids: Arshay and Aeshna, enjoyed the most was
river cruise. He recalls, “On the wooden ship they created a perfect Arabic feel with mattresses adorned with round pillows and bed side lanterns. And on the beats of Arabic music belly dancers entertained the guest on-board. You can hire the entire ship for an hour, which makes you feel nothing short of a sheikh.” So, the Jain family went on cruise thrice along Deira river. It was thrilling to see localites crossing the river sitting across the wooden logs.If you wanna a sneak look into this tourist popular country go for city tour. It best way to get familarised with this upbeat
foreign terrain. To catch more fun and excitement ‘Desert safari’ is another great option. Amit quips, “Jeep takes you to desert for dune bashing. It was out of the world experience.”
What are sure to attract you on any foreign land attracted this young couple too, that is, Dubai markets. The Jains seemed too delighted to visit the grand malls, especially the
Gold Souk. The huge glittery gold mall with numerous designs too offer made it too confusing too buy anything. “With too many exquisite patterns available, Anju found it hard choose. She literally wanted to visit every outlet of the multi-storey gold Souk,” Amit titters.
Food didn’t turn out to be a problem there with place offering world’s best cuisine. “South Indian delicacies were most readily served on platter at Indian restaurants. ‘Swagat’ had good Indian stuff. In the market, there were food outlets serving hot samosas and pav bhaji. What was even more interesting was Arabs speaking Hindi.” That’s speaks for their commitment to travel industry. They don’t mind learning or conversing in an foreign tongue.
For Aeshna and Arshay theme parks and water park - wild vadi were quite memorable. They had all the excitement there. They loved the rides.
