Jamaica Gleaner: Help us to help our
parents.
UNICEF
Congratulations UNICEF, The Gleaner Company and Panos Caribbean.
My heart go out to all the
children living with HIV, thanks to UNICEF, and the companys, that are supporting them. I am so inpressed when i read this
article in the Jamaica Gleaner.
As this child write in the article children of parents infected with the virus are often time overlooked.
Come to think about it persons who have disease, or any form of illness in society always face discrimination i have to say congratulations UNICEF, The Gleaner Company, and Panos Caribbean you make a difference advocating for change in a positive way.
Knowing when parents are sick the children are forced to take care of them selves and younger siblings, this get frustrating at times doing these adult work and sometimes they are abuse verbaly and physically, Parents and children who are affected need counselling.
This kid in the aricle is seeking help on the behalf of all kids, stating that these parents need help, and that parenting seminars, should be for people living with HIV , this will help them to cope with dealing withkids in a less abusive way.
