Kuwait city, Nov. 25thA Kuwaiti men got sentenced to Life in prison for kidnapping, beating and raping an Indonesian woman.The
woman had a relationship with him for 10 months (which is illegal in Kuwait when you are not married) and wanted to end it.The men took her to a place in the desert and beat and raped her.(May 2006)The woman is sentenced to one year in jail and ordered to be deported after serving the sentence.----------Wasta frees beam shootersThree men, two Kuwaitis and one Saudi who were detained at Taima police station, after repeatedly shooting laser beams at military aircrafts taking off from Ali-Salem airbase, have been released upon intervention from an unidentified member of the Parliament.One of the pilots took of three times and had to land again, when the laser beams had been directed at the aircraft.The pilot complained to the police and the trio got arrested.(article from Arab times (Nov. 26th), reported by Al-Jareedah daily)
