H1n1 in Mauritius

Article Abstract by: Soleilmaurice

This abstract was translated from L'ile Maurice et le H1N1
The last official figures in Mauritius report two new deaths related to the influenza H1N1. The two victims were 50 &
40 years old respectively and both had severe pulmonary complications. To date we have 7 deaths and around 35000 infected or, more precisely, 50000 according to the French press. The authorities note however a fall  in the hospitals and the health centres. However the country is still on level 6 of the pandemia. According to testimonys of the two families, the progression of the disease was very fast. The victims were robust and the families are dismayed by the the evolution of the disease. It was only at the final stage that the families were told that the victims were contaminated by the H1N1. The president of the Federation of the Civil service claims that the authorities systematically communicate the number of people whose death is due to the H1N1 " for more transparency ". The schools remain closed till Monday August 31. But will the classes resume normally on this date?
