SURVIVOR, HERO AND A COWARD
One fine morning as I was checking mails when a news brought chills down my spine as it
said that one of our friends committed suicide and to my surprise nobody on earth knew the reason for his demise not even his parents. I still
remember his face vividly and find it hard to bring myself believe that he really did it. I keep on wandering what had been on his mind that particular instant; I had been thinking the entire day how a person at such an age commits suicide. This is the time, the age when a person is full of enthusiasm and high sprits to achieve the goals he has set. How could he have lost it all? I believe suicide perhaps is the easy way out when a person sees no hope. Perhaps that’s something only cowards do.
Ones life goes through a series of phases, it is full of happiness and miseries, which are a bitter truth of life, had the Pandora’s box of troubles remained shut. But we all should remember that there’s always a brighter side called hope, which should keep us going. Why end a beautiful gift of god in one fling when we know we have the power to create a life we have imagined.
Remember the song “ Hero” which says “there’s a hero when you look inside your heart you don’t have to be afraid of what you are”. Truly inspirational as song is, there is always an angel within all of us that tells us with path to choose or where to go when the other evil side shows us the way cowards choose. It is the angel in you that has to defeat the evil and to defeat the evil all you need to do is be strong even at the worst of times because you know you can kill the devil in you and opt for a better tomorrow, which might at present be far but not that far if you have patience.
Let no such devil bound your senses till you see no brighter side, remember the angel within you that would help you get out of such ordeal because there is always the positive vibe in you that will answer all your questions.
Turn the pages of the history, a person is always remembered for his good deeds, people as such are always cherished while the others are erased in the sands of time while the cowards who choose the wrong way are the ones who lose the battle called life. How would you want to be remembered in the eyes of your grandchildren is all on your hands a hero, a
survivor or a coward??
