Conservatism and Vulgarism

Conservatism and vulgarism are poles apart cultural shades of the contemporary world. The people having some grains of morality are considered conservatives by the nudity adoring western inhabitants and their pawns in the eastern countries. On the other hand the people residing in the countries, where moral values are still intact to a certain extent, deem that western countries are inundated with earthiness. Even after getting rid of colonial powers the mental slaves at the helm of affairs in various developing countries propagate values of their masters. This master-slave relationship has given birth to trickling out of western morals in the eastern countries that are perpetually eroding indigenous customs, traditions, ethical values and moral principles.
There are several places in the western countries that are dens of vulgarity. Sea beaches, dance clubs, cinemas, bawdyhouses, etc, are glittering and cherishable sites for the western and west-inspired people. They are breeding grounds of immodesty and uncountable evils. The eastern civilization is losing its modesty and dignity by continuously stepping into the shoes of the western civilization by following its stripped culture in letter and spirit. The contemporary western civilization is harvesting bitter fruits of obscenity in the form of uncontrolled extramarital relations, unbridled homosexual adventures, unchecked rapes, uncertified illegitimate children, unrestrained divorces, uninhibited sexually transmitted diseases and unrepressed psychological illnesses. Due to rampant moral wear and tear some of the eminent scholars predicted deterioration of the western civilization.
The western people avoid hugging, handshaking and living together with the same gender to avoid the label of gay. In the western countries divorce is considered panacea for all marriage related evils. Instead of fixing the connubial problems they consider it an easy way to throw out the baby with the bathwater. The western media and their white gurus are sparing no effort to impart nude values in the eastern countries while those people having some grains of morality are branded conservatives. They encourage some upstart bootlickers who toe their line. Now morally stressed current fashions have become a symbol of novelty and decency while morally engrossed old fashions are regarded obsolete and outdated. In the developing countries poverty-stricken people are compelled to sell their body parts and honor to keep body and soul together while rich people exploit their problems. This speaks volumes that the poor cannot afford morality while the rich people don’t consider its requirement.
Islam is a religion of modernity and modesty. It favors acquiring latest knowledge and adopting up to date technology for progress and social welfare of humanity without losing morality. It prohibits all indecent practices that can become fountainheads for uncountable evils. Thus Islam is an enlightened, moderate, and progressive religion. Those who consider its teachings old-fashioned are living in cloud cuckoo land. Its instructions direct its followers to speak truth and fight against social evils by all means. Islamic principles help its followers to demarcate between right and wrong. Those people who fight for righteousness to stamp out social evils are best people in the world. There is crying need to project true image of Islam so that reality can swiftly flourish that is bound to flourish and falsehood can rapidly perish that is bound to perish.
