Reader Of The Thoughts
This is a story of a young boy named Ahmad, who lived in a small village. Ahmad was 16 years
old, and used to go to the school in the morning and after that helped his poor old
mother in running the small business of providing fruits and vegetables to the people from the nearby villages.Just after his birth, Ahmad�s father died in a fatal accident and from that time their days of hardships began. Their small business and the little profit gained was the only means of livelihood for them.One day Ahmad was selling grocery outside his house when all of a sudden he experienced a terrible headache which made him unconscious. After one hour he woke up and found himself lying on the couch, with his worried mother sitting near him.�Oh thank God! You woke up my son.� His mother, Sarah, said and burst into tears.�I am fine mom, no need to cry.� Ahmad supported her. On that day Ahmad felt very different and uncomfortable.His mother also noticed that something had changed in her son after that incident. She asked the reason from Ahmad but he was unable to tell.After two days a man visited their house to buy some fruits. Ahmad came out and asked the man what he wanted? The man said, �Can I have some apples, please?� All of a sudden Ahmad heard an unusual voice in his mind, �It�s a good opportunity to steal his bicycle when he goes
inside the house.� Ahmad looked everywhere to see from where the voice came but he was unsuccessful. This threw him into a big confusion but just to ensure he went inside and kept an eye on the man. When the man was sure that Ahmad had gone inside to bring apples he ran towards the bicycle. But before he could sit on the bicycle, Ahmad came outside and thus he had to run from there. This incident made Ahmad very much amazed and excited and he was also a little bit happy.The next day, while in school he noticed a boy dizzy and gloomy during the teacher�s lecture. The teacher asked the boy, �What�s wrong, Amir? Why are you looking so low?� The boy replied, �Sorry Sir! I am not feeling well today.� At that moment suddenly Ahmed heard another voice in his mind, �Oh God! The cigarette was too hard!� After hearing the unknown voice Ahmad stood up and reported to the teacher that Amir used to smoke cigarettes which have caused this laziness. On checking his pockets one packet of cigarettes was found. Amir was immediately punished and his parents too were informed.Ahmad was now sure that he was able to read other people�s thoughts. He was very happy and went home in excitement. He told everything to his mother who told him not to tell anyone and keep this information secret.One day, while in the market Ahmad read the minds of two burglars who were planning to steal precious jewels from a shop. He called the police at once and the two suspects were arrested. According to the police report they were great criminals. Thus Ahmad was awarded with money by the police department and the jeweller. From that time Ahmad stared to use his power to help people and gain facilities.
