The Planetary one To see the Sky of the Incas
On October thirteen of the present year there
was inaugurated a
center of astronomic observation in the city of the Cusco.
It is located to only ten minutes of the historical center, closely together to Sacsahuaman''s Archaeological Park in the Reserve) Echo tourist of Llaullipata.
The astronomer Edwin Salazar explains the vision of the Incas of the astral space or Hanan Pacha as reflex of the daily life, and the importance of the pléyades (Q''ollqa) and of the most brilliant stars as Syrian (Willka Wara) and Antares (Choquechinchay) and as they were part of calendars that indicated the agricultural cycles, for example.
