about the Celtics… And to be honest being an eclectic one is mainstream… Who wants to be mainstream??? Mainstream are for arrogant, and schizophrenic. Ok.. Forget about the title. I''m writing here to praise the celts, for having their team competitive.
Well let’s get back… Ok… Ignore the first two sentences; I’ll still talk about Boston…. Ok… My friend Derek, and Rafael and Edmundo and many stated the Boston is a force to reckon with this season… And “hephep” I know what you’re thinking, you’re thinking that I will oppose those foolish men stated above, you’re thinking that I will choose to be different just because for me to look like ‘Tom Hanks”. NO. I will not… I agree that Boston will be challenging the title for at least the Eastern Conference. I was just about to say that the most improved team is the NY Knicks (I’m not being pejorative!!!) but when Ainge pulled off that huge trade, then Celtics “maybe” the most improved team as far as the off season is concern. Well how great are the Celtics? Lets clusterized the big three:
Paul Pierce: For me, I think Paul Pierce is better than any other wingman in this league (Excuse me Mondray, T-MaC and of course LeBron is an exception). Why??? Look Paul is overweight, he was stabbed at the back 3 times, he is slow, and he looks like tardy. Still he manages to score 25 and grab almost 10 rebounds… Do you understand it??? In fantasy
basketball, Pierce’s value is greater than T-MaC… I expect him to lead the Celts in scoring…
Ray Allen: Well Ray is a catch and shoot type of guy…. He doesn’t need the ball a lot in his hands. And he is like Jesus. With the way he treats his teammates, he''s just simply amiable. Well, the cons is not his age but his durability. Also is his “D”. Well let’s just watch if he ages faster than Greg Ostertag.
KG: Now we will talk about everybody’s favorite. Since he is everybody’s favorite, I will not write anything about him…
Aside from the big three, the remaining are supporting crews who are still untested and should prove that they belong in there. As Ainge plummeted, the Big three will never be big unless they start winning games. Adding James Posey and Eddie House is important. Look, the East has become more competitive. The Nets, Knicks, Cavaliers, Bulls and many. Like the Celtics, they also improved their lineup. They’re title run is good for 2 and half years. If one of them falls into injury, they’re chance will be slimmer (Allen by 10%, Pierce and KG at 80%). These are the bets: Who will win more regular season games, Knicks or Celts??? TrailBlazers or Sonics??? I’ll simply pick the Knicks and Trail because others will surely pick the other. You can place your bets by putting a comment…
