Write your abstract here.Philippine Star is one of the largest newspapers in the Philippines in terms of circulation. I have
been reading Philippine Star since its onset after the EDSA revolution in the Philippines in 1986. That was the start of the return of popular democracy in the Philippines and the beginning of the term of President Cory Aquino after 22 years of martial law rule of the late Philippine strongman- President Ferdinand Marcos. Philippine Star is very balanced and covers all sections of human interests- from the front page to the sports section. Actually, those are my two most favorite sections of Philippine Star. News are not too long and not too short. There is no
political bias as far as reporting is concerned. All sides of the political spectrum are given the chance to air their sides. Opinion columns are also very
substantive and balanced. Foreign news are very comprehensive too. As they say in their advertisement, it''s the only newspaper that you can read from cover to cover.
