VIVA LA CASTRO''''S
Raul Castro, Cuba''''s newly elected next president taking over from Big Brother Fidel Castro who has been in power for the past 50 odd years. Fidel might have been Cuba''''s light some 50 odd years ago, claiming they independence and freedom from the hands of the enemy.
Raul like his brother has made it plain and simple that any other country isn''''t welcome to meddle in its affairs and judging by the statement he made after he was elected I would advise the meddlers to stay out of the way. The Castro''''s have nothing to do with their countries and so should they in return.
One can''''t help but observe that Raul having been playing under the shadow of Big Brother Fidel has his work cut out for him. He plans to take the economy of the country to another level. Besides the abuse of power by the Castro brother''''s we do hope that Raul is given a fair chance to change the country and bring it into this century and for him not to be viewed under the same microscope as Fidel. However one has to wonder what the country thinks about the change of presidency, the Castro''''s have certainly made presidency a family affair. There is nothing democratic about this election but rather an over exercise of power.
The rest of the world will sit back and watch what Raul has to offer and hopeful Cuba will aviod being the next Zumbabwe
