Newspaper Abstract by:

VICTIMS OF INTERNET FRAUD GET THEIR OWN BACK!
Although it is hard to believe that some 200 spammers and Internet fraudsters are responsible for the deposit of some 90-billion spam e-mails in (mainly) free e-mail service-provider inboxes each day. And that this relatively miniscule number of felons, charlatans, swindlers, and racketeers - who ought to be languishing lengthily behind bars - succeeded in conning some 200 000 unwary Americans out of some $239-million in 2007.
Thanks to leading ISP Phoenix.com's February 2008 implementation of the innovative PayMail-Equaliser policy, that not only obliges bulk e-mailers to pay an EMDIBPF (e-mail destination-inbox posting-fee) of 0.30c per e-mail, but also puts a 0.15c share of the posting-fee into the pockets of subscribers, who registered their willingness to open and possibly read unsolicited bulk e-mail messages, but never click on a link to a possibly spamvertised site.
Whereas numerous bulk e-mailers and Internet fraudsters, unable to afford or unwilling to spend, some $2,5-million for the delivery of e.g., 300 000 e-mails to 300 000 inboxes, over a 30-day period, have simply vanished into thin air. Many victims of Internet fraud have happily received most if not all of their money back.
"While, admittedly, it is difficult to fathom why our marketers and product-developers overlooked the income-generating (play-fair& pay-back) opportunity that was literally staring us in the face for so many years, said Alan Walthrop CEO of Phoenix.com.
We are very pleased that the long-awaited law prohibiting anyone from charging a job-seeker for an employment-opportunity is finally in place. Gratified that many of our subscribers who fell prey to highway-robbery in the past have been partially or wholly recompensed. And essentially delighted that the introduction of the PayMail-Equaliser policy, has not only swelled the ranks of new subscribers, who were heartily tired of paying a monthly landline service rental, ISP fee, and connection costs, to have their privately-owned computers used as junkmail rubbish-dumps - but that the PayMail-Equaliser policy has also made the web a noticeably cleaner, safer, and more enjoyable place to visit."
