Jobseekers allowance of sixty five pounds a week ... is the headline that arrests our attention first thing in the
morning ... a story about a 45 year old Pilot who has had an illustrious career and has been grounded, left unemployed, has had his new job
applications dropped and is left on Job Seeking Allowance with his wife and 3 children.
I recall days when the Pilot would never have been "shopped" by the Press and it simply would have been tidied away but these days because of lack of privacy everything is out in the open. Whether or not the issue is nationally relevant is a entirely different matter .. we read it first thing in the morning the secret agenda of this jobless Pilot's career . I hope he gets work soon ... I am a playwright so possibly should he wish me to teach him Writing then I am the person best suited to help .. hard work!
