What the Queen wears and how she wears it is of international importance and in today''s
Daily Mail there is a
wonderful
photograph of the Queen and Prince Phillip together in their younger days ... the story goes they used to have a bit of a tiff in the car and one or
other partner would storm off ... I cannot imagine it .... can you?
The Trinny and Susannah team are fronting the magazine ... I must admit I have a love - hate relationship with this style of programme ..... after all some
people, like the
Queen wear ceremonial clothing and that''s the job they have to do ... so it seems
absurd to laugh at people or get into an overt critique on how or why people wear
clothes they way they do. I can add - that I wear a Polo Jumper and I remember watching a whole programme years ago presented by the Trinny and Susannah team on the subject of how awful polo jumpers were and how dreadful everyone looked when wearing them. I totally disagree that I look bad wearing a polo ... in fact I look "great" "glamourous!"
and I keep my greatcoat hung up on my peg for the bad weather should it arise!
Heather Mills McCartney has been dropped by her lawyers ... sorry! Mills McCartney has dropped her lawyers and is handling the divorce from Paul the former Beatle ... herself ... that should keep her busy!
Lovely photographs ... great sense of nostalgia for the 1960s and cars ... to include
Peter Sellers, Tom Jones, Charlotte Rampling ... dont they look positively
wonderful in their frames with the car beside them .. I had a mini ... as my first car ... it was a great little car on the road ... and we used to drive to work in the mini!
Right now the Daily Mail has offered us a free DVD of "Snow Queen" providing
Christmas magic and fantasy ... I watched it all afternoon ..... a wonderful
Saturday film''s entertainment and suitable for all the family.
