The Daily
Mail -
Femail Section
With it''s variety and depth the femail section is always
worth a read or a look up on their website. Topics range from horoscopes to travel to health.
There is enough to keep interest for a longer period of time. The sudoku
puzzles are always a
challenge and are worth a go whilst sat down with a cuppa.
What was surprising is the limited amount of celebrity "gossip" which was a nice surprise. It does get to the point of tedious seeing the same story of some celebrity on every front page and the femail section provides a brief overview with not much detail.
The health section is an interesting read, including hints and tips on diets (always worth a go!), contraception (especially the pill) and diseases and viruses in detail (currently the norovirus).
The pages are always laid out in an easily readable manner and the context is never hard to understand.
It does allow room for thought, especially with the
fashion pages and it can be quite easy to dwell on "Oh I wish I had enough money for..." Which is not a bad thing, as the cheaper alternative is offered and somewhere deep inside the brain ticks over to "I wonder what payment types they accept."
If there is a morning free, lounging around in slippers and a dressing gown with not much else to do this a perfect replacement for staring mindlessly at the television, or forcing yourself to do something (like housework!). Use it as an excuse. Use it to change your look. Use it to challenge your brain with puzzles.
