Mail Online has a startling story about a 62 year old male
teacher who has been prosecuted on the charge of assaulting a
boy/pupil who was disruptive in his claas and after been repeatedly told 4 times to stop
telling a racist joke the pupil persisted in annoying the
teacher. The teacher grabbed the boy and locked him in a cupboard and the boy got released!
However the teacher who is 62 years old Michael Becker from Near Ipswich has had an exemplary career in teaching spanning 32 years and he has been reported as saying that this one incident has shattered his career. I suppose its hard news every day to read some desperate story in the Mail Online about the stress of teaching in Britain but I suppose it would be apposite to mention that its such a pity someone couldnt have come between the teacher and this badly behaved pupil, who denies that he was repeatedly told to stop telling racist jokes ....... the teacher is to be sentenced on October 23 09 in the UK .. hard news from the Mail Online
